Booking Conditions
1)The applicant accepts these conditions on behalf
of all the members of the party. Only persons named on the booking
form are entitled to use the property and no animals are allowed on
the property. Check-in/Check-out The property is available from 5pm
on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure
(it maybe possible to change these times but you must request this
prior to the commencement of your holiday).
2)Your responsibility The party must treat the property, it's furniture,
fittings , utensils and other facilities with respect. Any loss or damage
must be reported immediately to the Management Company. The applicant
must make good or pay for any loss, damage or breakage. Scarlets Villas
or their booking agent reserve the right to withhold any monies from
the security deposit or charge the Applicant's credit card to pay for
any loss or damage caused to the property or its contents by any member
of the party. Safety Children must be supervised by an adult in the
pool area. Glass and breakable crockery must not be taken into the pool
or surrounding patio area.
3)Cleaning The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival and after
you have departed. Should you require daily maid service or a weekly
clean, this must be requested prior to the commencement of your holiday.
Although the property will be cleaned after your departure it must still
be left in an orderly state and all kitchen utensils should be washed.
Should the property require extensive cleaning then Scarlets Villas
or their booking agent reserve the right to withhold any monies from
the security deposit or charge the Applicant's credit card to pay the
extra cleaning.
4)Problems Any complaints related to the accommodation must be made
in writing to the Florida representative within 24 hours of any problem
arising, who will endeavour to put things right. Unless there is a valid
reason, we will not consider Scarlets Villas, their agents or representatives
liable for any complaint that was not initially registered with the
Florida representative during your stay.
5)The Applicant is hereby made aware that on many Estates there will
be other homes under construction. Scarlets Villas, their agents or
representatives will not accept liability for complaints arising from
construction. The owner, Management Company or their agent will not
be liable for any loss or delay caused by conditions over which they
have no control. The owner, Management Company or their agent will not
be liable for any loss due to noise or disturbance from anywhere within
the vicinity of the rental property.
6)Climate the Applicant is hereby made aware that, as Florida is a tropical
climate it is the home of many insects etc. All homes are treated on
a regular basis to repel such unwanted visitors, but inevitably they
occasionally will find there way inside properties from time to time.
They are best eradicated by spraying with an appropriate product.
7)Pool Heat For Villas with private pools, pool heat is charged as an
optional extra when available.
8)Maid Service This is available as an optional extra.
Booking/Cancellation
£100 per week booking deposit is required *- The
Applicant must notify any additions or alterations to the booking form
in writing. Payment balance due 10 weeks before departure plus a damage/security
deposit of £100 per week is required. The security deposit is refundable
immediately after your holiday upon receipt of a satisfactory report
from the local Management Company. Applicants cancelling a booking up
to 10 weeks prior to departure will lose their deposit. Applicants cancelling
a booking less than 10 weeks before departure will be liable for the
total cost of their rental.
* Unrefundable deposit of £100 ($200) for each reserved week (deposit
will only be refunded if we are able to relet reserved weeks)
Scarlets Villa or its agents do not accept liability for
loss of mains services such as electricity or water supplies, nor for
the consequences of the actions or omissions of the persons who supply
these services. The property is only covered for liability insurance.
The owners accept no responsibility for loss or thefts of clients luggage
or personal property at any time at the property or pool area, or any
location in the USA Clients are responsible for their own all risks
insurance.
It is your responsibility to ensure that yourself and those
for whom you are booking are in possession of valid passports and any
appropriate visas. British passports must be valid for 6 months after
your departure from the USA. Applicants are strongly recommended to
take adequate holiday insurance to cover cancellation accident/illness
or damage.
